UFC Fight Night 272 lineup sits at 13 bouts after a lightweight
bout was recently added to the card.
Kai
Kamaka III will make his promotional return against Dakota Hope
in a 155-pound affair on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Marcel Dorff was first to report the pairing. UFC Fight Night 272 is headlined
by a lightweight clash pitting Renato
Carneiro against Chris
Duncan. The card airs in its entirety on Paramount+ beginning
at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
Veteran vs. Prospect
Kamaka III went 1-2-1 during a brief
UFC stint from 2020 to 2021. “The Fighting Hawaiian” has also
competed for organizations such as Bellator
MMA and
Professional Fighters League, earning victories over the likes
of Henry
Corrales, Bubba
Jenkins and Pedro
Carvalho. The 31-year-old has more recently fought under the
Tuff-N-Uff banner, compiling a 3-1 mark since April 2025.
Hope, 29, has been victorious in 11 of 12 professional outings. He
last appeared in a featherweight bout at Fury FC 116, where he
knocked out Mauricio
Gomez in the opening stanza on Feb. 20.
