Dominick Reyes names UFC’s best commentator, again criticizes D.C.

Dominick
Reyes considers Dominick
Cruz the best commentator in the
Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Reyes stopped Azamat
Murzakanov at
UFC 333 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. The former title challenger
subsequently criticized Daniel
Cormier, accusing him of bias in his commentary.

Dominick Reyes praises Dominick Cruz and urges Daniel Cormier
to be more impartial after UFC 333

Reyes and Cormier exchanged messages on social media after UFC 333,
with the former taking several shots at the Hall of Famer.

Reyes says he likes Cormier and considers him a skilled
commentator, but he believes the former two-division champion needs
to be more impartial because commentary can affect fighters’
careers. “The Devastator” also praised Jon Anik, Paul Felder
and Laura Sanko,
while identifying Cruz as his favorite.

“I like DC too, I think he’s extremely well-spoken, man… He’s got a
silver tongue,” Reyes told Ariel Helwani. “He gets fans in there. I
think he’s really good at what he does. He just needs to do better.
That’s it. I think Dom Cruz is the best. I think Anik is really,
really good. I like Paul Felder a lot. Laura Sanko is amazing.
They’re all really good, but you could do better. Just don’t be
biased, man, and be real. Realize these are our lives. You can’t
just say things willy-nilly about us out here.”
