Defense against a Street Headlock If you're in a headlock position, the first thing you must do is tuck in your head. By doing this, if you receive any blows from your attacker they will be somewhat less painful on your head than your facial area. Your frontal bone is quite strong and rigid, it's actually possible to break your knuckles if you ever punch someone there. While tucking in your head, you must trap your attacker's elbow to his body to stop his punches from coming at you, and then with your other hand, try to aim for his face since it's quite sensitive and can make him lose some of his focus. You can also neck crank by aiming towards the face. If you crank your attacker's neck upwards, you can afterwards use the back leg to bring yourself up from the headlock.
