post. | Getty/UFC
Sean
Strickland has changed his stance on the ongoing conflict
between Israel and Palestine.
Known for being unhinged, Strickland has previously faced backlash
for insensitive comments about Palestine. That was actually the
beginning of Strickland’s feud with Khamzat
Chimaev while they were training together at
Xtreme Couture. Belal
Muhammad, who is also a staunch supporter of Palestine, had
also slammed Strickland for his comments.

However, Strickland has since changed his stance on the conflict.
Strickland has been repeatedly lashing out at Israel for allegedly
“bombing kids.” Following his massive upset win over Chimaev at
UFC
328 last month, Strickland also made a joke about the American
Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which was censored on the
Paramount+ broadcast. Strickland then had an online spat with
Jewish journalist Ariel Helwani, which the UFC middleweight
champion believes was triggered by the AIPAC joke.
Strickland (30-7) most recently mocked Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu. Strickland hopes that Netanyahu attends the
iconic
UFC Freedom 250 card at the White House on June 14. Strickland
believes Netanyahu will set the record for the loudest case of
public shaming if he attends the event.
“I hope Benjamin Netanyahu goes to UFC 250,” Strickland wrote. “…..
It will set the record for the loudest public shaming.”
I hope Benjamin Netanyahu goes to UFC
250…..It will set the record for the loudest public shaming…. 🤞

However, the UFC White House card is closed to the general public.
While Dana White said there will be 4,300 seats, they will be
reserved mostly for members of the military.
