Miranda
Maverick is one of three fighters who is facing a potentially
lengthy layoff on the heels of UFC
Atlanta.
Maverick, who revealed she
tore her ACL in the second round of Saturday’s co-main event
against Rose
Namajunas, is suspended indefinitely — or 180 days — until she
receives doctor clearance. Maverick fought through the injury and
lost a unanimous decision to the former strawweight champion.

The Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission released a full
list of medical suspensions from the event on Monday. The specific
nature of each suspension was not revealed, and every fighter on
the card received at least a seven-day mandatory term.
Two other fighters from UFC on ESPN 69 also received indefinite
suspensions (or up to 180 days): Edmen
Shahbazyan, who took a unanimous decision win over Andre
Petroski at middleweight, and Alonzo
Menifield, who outpointed Oumar Sy in a
light heavyweight duel.
