Garry’s recent comments don’t sit well with Uros
Medic.
Medic recently went off Garry, claiming that he isn’t a fan of the
Irishman’s fighting style. While “The Doctor” gives Garry credit
for accumulating wins, he isn’t a fan of the former
Cage Warriors champion’s defense-first, evasive fighting style.
Furthermore, Medic finds Garry’s opinions shared during a recent
podcast appearance quite cringe.

Uros Medic mocks ‘decision merchant’ Ian Garry’s marriage and
opinions
Medic has slammed Garry’s fighting style, claiming that the
Irishman ascended the ranks by outpointing his opponents in
lackluster bouts.
“Obviously, he is a decision merchant,” Medic told Full Send MMA.
“He runs around and gets a split decision. I mean, he’s done it
against Geoff Neal.
He’s done it against like a lot of guys; he would just run around
and try to score some kicks and then get a decision win, you know.
And props to him. He gets to win really; you can’t say nothing to a
winner.”
What Medic really has an issue with are Garry’s opinions. “The
Future” recently said that being in touch with his feminine side
makes him more masculine. Garry also believes that the world would
be a better place with women running it. The Serbian believes
Garry’s wife, Layla, made a career out of marrying an athlete and
is certain that Layla would have married another athlete if not
Garry.
“But the sh*t that he says, every time he opens his mouth, it just
makes me embarrassed to be in the same pool as him in the same
room,” Medic continued. “I’m like, what is this guy talking about?
He just recently came out saying how women should run the world. I
mean, uh, just because a woman runs his world, it doesn’t mean that
we should all have a woman running our world. Obviously, you know,
he married a lady whose career was marrying an athlete, and she
would have done it if it wasn’t for you, Garry; she would have
married a different athlete.”
Medic (13-3) is scheduled to headline
UFC Belgrade on Aug. 1 against Daniel
Rodriguez (20-5) in front of a home crowd at Belgrade Arena in
Serbia. Meanwhile, Garry (17-1) is set to challenge Islam
Makhachev (28-1) for the welterweight title in the main event
of UFC
330 on Aug. 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.
