The
\nLegacy Fighting Alliance<\/a> kicks off 2026 with a heavyweight
\nchampionship fight for the vacant title, which is now official
\nfollowing the LFA
\n224<\/a> weigh-ins.<\/p>\n

Throwing down for up to five possible rounds are Matthew
\nAdams<\/a> and undefeated prospect Arslan
\nBilalov<\/a>. Both men came in under the 266-pound heavyweight
\nlimit. As for the rest of the card, all fighters made weight with
\nthe exception of Jose
\nFerreira<\/a>, who came in 5.8 pounds over the lightweight cap. As a
\nresult, his fight against Ednilson
\nBarros Santos<\/a> has been canceled.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old Adams is the slightly more experienced pro fighter,
\nwalking into the title fight with a 5-1 record. “Bad” has won five
\nstraight bouts since losing his pro debut to Cameron
\nKinzig<\/a>. Meanwhile, Bilalov has never tasted defeat and sits at
\n5-0 in mixed martial arts. The Russian fighter trains out of
\nAmerican Top Team and has finished his last two fights by
\narm-triangle choke submission. Adams will be the heavier fighter as
\nhe weighed 263 pounds compared to Bilalov’s 240.6 pounds.<\/p>\n

LFA 224’s main card will air live on Vice TV starting at 9 p.m.
\nET\/6 p.m. PT, while its prelims kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET\/4:30 p.m.
\nPT on the promotion’s YouTube channel.<\/p>\n
