Pimblett is scheduled to fight Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> for the interim lightweight title at UFC 324<\/a>
\non Jan. 24 in Las Vegas. While Gaethje is known for his striking,
\nPimblett boasts a high level of wrestling. Gaethje\u2019s camp recently
\nsaid that they have been emphasizing wrestling to prepare for
\nPimblett. Regardless, Pimblett believes Gaethje won\u2019t be able to
\nstifle his wrestling. Pimblett claims that he doesn\u2019t wrestle
\nconventionally, making his style awkward. While fighters usually
\nbring in sparring partners to emulate their upcoming opponents,
\nPimblett doesn\u2019t think Gaethje will find any to mimic him.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m Not Normal\u2019<\/h2>\n

“I don’t wrestle like a normal person,\u201d Pimblett told the UFC. \u201cI
\ndon’t shoot double legs and single legs and wrestle like a normal
\nperson. I do everything differently. I’m not normal. He\u2019s not gonna
\nbe able to get a sparring partner that grapples like me or strikes
\nlike me, because I’m a weirdo. I’m very awkward: You can’t really
\nget a sparring partner to do me because I\u2019m so awkward.”<\/p>\n

While Pimblett (23-3) is undefeated in seven
\nUFC<\/a> outings, his most high-caliber wins have come against
\nBobby
\nGreen<\/a> and Michael
\nChandler<\/a>. Meanwhile, Gaethje (26-5) has been a perennial
\nlightweight contender and has already made two failed title bids.
\nIn his last four outings, \u201cThe Highlight\u201d has only lost to Max
\nHolloway<\/a>, while beating Rafael
\nFiziev<\/a> twice and Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> once. <\/p>\n
