\nis channeling his inner Babe Ruth.<\/p>\n

Months after watching his 13-fight, over seven-year unbeaten streak
\nfall to Diego
\nLopes<\/a>, Silva (16-3) will return to the Octagon to open the
\nUFC 324<\/a> main card in Las Vegas, where he faces
\nEnglishman Arnold
\nAllen<\/a> (20-3). Arriving to the \u201cFight Capital of the World\u201d this
\npast Saturday, Silva spoke with Brazilian outlet Ag.Fight<\/a> and, as always, didn\u2019t hide his goal.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy tactic has no secret,\u201d Silva declared. \u201cI\u2019m going to control
\nthe distance, hit him without throwing strikes, and when he makes a
\nmistake, I\u2019m going to knock him out. He\u2019ll probably want to take me
\ndown in desperation, but this time I\u2019m not going to do the spinning
\ntakedown. My prediction is to knock him out in the second
\nround.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rematch or Bust<\/h2>\n

The Fighting Nerd opened his heart, acknowledging that the defeat
\nin his last fight made him seek psychological help. With a new
\nlease on life, the 29-year-old from Brazil made it clear that, in
\ncase of victory, he expects he will be next for a shot at gold. If
\nhe had his choice, he would rematch Lopes, but does not mind if he
\nhas to battle champ Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to beat Allen and hope Diego wins,\u201d \u201cLord\u201d remarked. \u201cI
\nrefuse to die without fighting Diego again, but my focus is on the
\nbelt. If he loses, I\u2019ll fight Volkanovski. It\u2019ll be two bald guys
\nbeating each other up, and I\u2019ll be the champion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Silva went on to reveal that he has found a new, unexpected
\npassion: Nordic culture. He is so inspired by the Vikings of old
\nthat he plans on growing his beard out in honor of them.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there are other lives, I think I was Nordic. I like the culture
\nof those guys so much that my manager gave me a plot of land in
\nScotland as a birthday present. Now I\u2019m a Highlander! And I intend
\nto visit my land soon after I beat Allen,\u201d said the Fighting
\nNerd.<\/p>\n

While he opened up on some parts of his plan for Saturday, there
\nare secrets he wishes to keep. For starters, he would not share his
\nchoice of walkout music. He did, however, note that his corner will
\nconsist of Flavio
\nAlvaro<\/a>, Pablo Sucupira and his wife, Carolina de Castro. Silva
\nwill be making his way back to the cage after losing by knockout
\nfor the first time in his career.<\/p>\n
