\u201cThe Soldier of God\u201d has been forced to withdraw from a proposed
\nclash against Lorenzo
\nHunt<\/a> at BKFC Knucklemania 6 after contracting a \u201cstrong strain
\nof the flu.\u201d As a result, BKFC\u2019s No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter,
\nDavid
\nMundell<\/a>, will step in to face Hunt in a 199-pound catchweight
\naffair.<\/p>\n

Rebooking in the Works<\/h2>\n

\u201cUnfortunately I have to withdraw from my scheduled fight against
\nLorenzo Hunt at KM6 due to a very strong strain of the flu,\u201d read a
\nstatement from Romero released through BKFC. \u201cDuring my weight cut
\nfor RAF I felt my immune system was low, and I was feeling very
\nweak. A few days after my Jan. 10 RAF match I started to experience
\nsevere flu symptoms.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely disappointed but I\u2019ve been unable to train and I
\nneed to make my health a priority. I look forward to returning to
\naction to face Lorenzo Hunt at a later date, which is already in
\nthe works by BKFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Romero competed twice for RAF in recent weeks, besting Pat Downey<\/a>
\non Dec. 20 before falling to Stephen Buchanan on Jan. 10. Romero
\nmade his first BKFC foray on Sept. 12, knocking out Theo Doukas<\/a>
\nin the second stanza at BKFC 80. \u201cThe Soldier of God\u201d has also
\nearned a pair of victories under the Dirty Boxing banner.<\/p>\n

Hunt vs. Mundell will serve as the co-main event for BKFC
\nKnucklemania 6, which takes place on Feb. 7 at Xfinity Mobile Arena
\nin Philadelphia. The card is headlined by a heavyweight title tilt
\nbetween Ben Rothwell<\/a>
\nand Andrei
\nArlovski<\/a>.<\/p>\n
