The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> goes abroad for the first time
\nin 2026 and returns to Australia for a fun
\nUFC 325<\/a> fight card, which is now official following the
\nweigh-ins.<\/p>\n

The main event will see featherweight champion Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> inexplicably facing Diego Lopes<\/a>
\nagain. This rematch comes after “The Great” won the vacant
\nfeatherweight title over Lopes in April 2025 via a unanimous
\ndecision. Both men made weight for the title fight rematch. The
\nonly fighter to miss weight was would-be flyweight Aaron Tau<\/a>,
\nwho came in 3 pounds overweight for his fight against Namsrai
\nBatbayar<\/a>. The fight has been canceled as a result.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old champion reclaimed his featherweight title by
\nsoundly beating Lopes (27-7) over five rounds last year. Prior to
\nthe defeat, Volkanovski (27-4) suffered back-to-back defeats for
\nthe first time in his illustrious career to Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> and Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>. The Aussie fighter weighed 145 pounds on the dot.<\/p>\n

Lopes rebounded from his loss to Volkanovski by knocking out
\nJean
\nSilva<\/a> with a spinning back elbow in September 2025. The
\nBrazilian has won six of his last seven fights. His recent
\nvictories also include Brian
\nOrtega<\/a>, Dan Ige<\/a> and
\nSodiq
\nYusuff<\/a> as victims. The 31-year-old will look to shock the
\nworld, and he also weighed 145 pounds.<\/p>\n

UFC 325 will air in its entirety on Paramount+. Prelims begin at 5
\np.m. ET\/2 p.m. PT while the main card kicks off at 9 p.m. ET\/6 p.m.
