Lerone
\nMurphy<\/a> is not confident about earning the next featherweight
\ntitle shot even if he beats Movsar
\nEvloev<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Murphy (17-0) and Evloev (19-0) are scheduled to headline
\nUFC London<\/a> on March 21 at the O2 Arena. Either Murphy or Evloev
\nwere originally expected to challenge Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> for the title in his last fight. However,
\nVolkanovski successfully defended the title in a rematch against
\nDiego
\nLopes<\/a> at
\nUFC 325<\/a> last weekend in Australia. Considering Volkanovski
\nacknowledges Murphy and Evloev as the most deserving contenders,
\nthe UFC London headliner in March should be guaranteed title
\neliminator. <\/p>\n

\u2018Nothing\u2019s Concrete\u2019<\/h2>\n

However, Murphy doesn\u2019t think a title shot is neccessarily
\nguaranteed with a potential win over Evloev.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this point, words are wind, innit?\u201d Murphy said on “The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201cIt\u2019s like, the
\ndivision\u2019s forever changing and it\u2019s a performance-based company,
\nsomeone\u2019s gotta go out there and put on a good fight. Nothing\u2019s
\nconcrete, that\u2019s what I\u2019m trying to say. But I hope so.\u201d<\/p>\n

Evloev has long been a deserving contender with wins over the likes
\nof Lopes, Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a>, and Arnold
\nAllen<\/a>. Meanwhile, Murphy established himself as a contender by
\nspoiling the UFC debut of former Bellator star Aaron Pico<\/a>
\nwith a spinning back elbow last August. Volkanovski himself had
\nadmitted that Murphy might have jumped ahead of Evloev in the title
\nqueue with his win over Pico. <\/p>\n
