\nSaturday.<\/p>\n

With the report first coming from MMA Latinoamerica<\/a> on Thursday, Said
\nNurmagomedov<\/a> has been forced to withdraw from UFC Vegas 113<\/a>, also known as UFC Fight Night
\n266. The Russian bantamweight was booked against Javid
\nBasharat<\/a> (14-2, 1 NC), the elder of the Basharat brothers, on
\nthe prelims set for the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. His replacement,
\nGianni
\nVazquez<\/a> (13-5), has confirmed<\/a> the
\ninitial news as well as his status as a new addition to the
\nroster.<\/p>\n

Nurmagomedov, who withdrew for currently undisclosed reasons, has
\nhad a great deal of difficulty getting to the UFC cage since he
\njoined the roster in 2018. Thus far, he has only made 11 walks to
\nthe Octagon, with 2022 his high-water mark as he appeared thrice
\nthat year. Since 2023, he has fought twice, losing both outings to
\nheadliner Vinicius
\nOliveira<\/a> and Bryce
\nMitchell<\/a>. Whether due to injury or an issue for his opponent,
\nNurmagomedov has seen seven bouts fall through to date as a member
\nof the UFC.<\/p>\n

The debuting Vazquez has floated around the Latin American scene
\nover the years, making his pro debut in his home country of Mexico
\nin May 2014. The 31-year-old engaged in a one-off under the

\nto join the Fury Fighting Championship<\/a> and challenge for
\nthe promotion\u2019s belt. Since coming up short to ex-UFC name Edgar
\nChairez<\/a>, Vazquez rattled off five victories with Up Next

UFC Fight Night 266, which also goes by UFC Vegas 113, goes down on
\nFeb. 7 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Bantamweights take center
\nstage in the headliner as Mario
\nBautista<\/a> battles the aforementioned Oliveira. In the co-main
\nattraction, flyweights vie for a shot at gold as Amir Albazi<\/a>
\nbattles Kyoji
\nHoriguchi<\/a>. Additionally, heavyweights Jailton
\nAlmeida<\/a> and Rizvan
\nKuniev<\/a> are slated to battle it out, and the main card will be
\nrounded out by a middleweight pairing pitting Michal
\nOleksiejczuk<\/a> against Marc-Andre
\nBarriault<\/a>, one at 135 pounds between Jean
\nMatsumoto<\/a> and Farid
\nBasharat<\/a> and open with a light heavyweight banger when Dustin
