However, Jones recently revealed that he has severe arthritis while
\nshutting down the idea of wrestling \u201cDC.\u201d Jones claims his left hip
\nis so severely affected by arthritis that he has qualified for hip
\nreplacement surgery. \u201cBones\u201d wants to save the rest of his hip to
\nplay with his 3-year-old son.<\/p>\n

Aging Rapidly?<\/h2>\n

\u201cI have severe arthritis,\u201d Jones said (video via Home of Fight).
\n\u201cMost people don\u2019t know that. My left hip is covered in arthritis.
\nI actually already qualified for hip replacement. My last training
\ncamp I went to bed in so much pain\u2026 I have a 3-year-old baby boy. I
\nwant to use what I got left from my hips to play with his ass.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comes as a slight surprise, as Jones (28-1) has been teasing a
\nreturn to action. Jones retired unceremoniously last June after
\nstalling the heavyweight division for over a year, ducking interim
\nchampion Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>. However, Jones returned to the drug testing pool
\nweeks later, following President Donald Trump\u2019s announcement about
\na UFC event at the White House in 2026. The former UFC light
\nheavyweight and heavyweight champion is currently rallying for a
\nheavyweight matchup against current light heavyweight champion
\nAlex
\nPereira<\/a> at the White House in June.  <\/p>\n
