Cory
\nSandhagen<\/a> has a tongue-in-cheek theory as to why Sean
\nO’Malley<\/a> doesn\u2019t want to fight him. <\/p>\n

Sandhagen believed O\u2019Malley was not deserving of an immediate
\nrematch after losing his title against Merab
\nDvalishvili<\/a>. However, O\u2019Malley waited for his turn and failed
\nto reclaim his title against Dvalishvili at UFC 316<\/a>
\nlast year. Dvalishvili then went on to defend his title against
\nSandhagen at UFC 320<\/a>
\nlast October. Sandhagen has since been calling for a matchup
\nagainst O\u2019Malley at the White House in June. <\/p>\n

Sandhagen believes O\u2019Malley doesn\u2019t want to fight him as his ginger
\nhair resembles that of \u201cSuga\u2019s\u201d longtime coach and friend, Tim Welch<\/a>.
\nSandhagen also jokes that the former bantamweight champion could be
\nsexually attracted to him.<\/p>\n

Calling Out \u2018Suga\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cMe and Sean O\u2019Malley should absolutely fight at the White House,\u201d
\nSandhagen says. \u201cThere is literally no reason not to. Why does this
\ndude not really want to fight me? Is he scared of me? I\u2019m like,
\n\u2018No, I don\u2019t think that that\u2019s it.\u2019 He is willing to fighter other
\nscary guys too. Maybe I look a little bit too much like Tim Welch<\/a> and
\nhe just doesn\u2019t want to fight another ginger. Maybe this dude is a
\nlittle bit sexually attracted to me\u2026 or it could be those last two
\ntogether.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandhagen (18-6) has now sandwiched a win over Deiveson
\nFigueiredo<\/a> between losses against Umar
\nNurmagomedov<\/a> and Dvalishvili. Meanwhile, O\u2019Malley (19-3)
\nrecently rebounded from back-to-back losses against Dvalishvili
\nwith a win over Yadong Song<\/a>
\nat UFC 324<\/a>
\nlast month.. <\/p>\n
