The
\nLegacy Fighting Alliance<\/a> has a new middleweight champion after
\nJoseph
\nKropschot<\/a> pulled off an upset against David
\nAllakhverdiev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The
\nLFA 226<\/a> main event saw the previously undefeated
\nAllakhverdiev’s title on the line against Kropschot, who was on a
\nthree-fight win streak heading into the championship bout. The
\nstriking of Allakhverdiev (7-1) did damage early, but it was the
\ngrappling of Kropschot (8-3) that ultimately made the difference.
\nIn the second round, Kropschot took his opponent’s back and
\n
\nsunk in a rear-naked choke<\/a> to win the title. The tap officially
\ncame at 3:24 of Round 2.<\/p>\n

The co-main event featured the night’s two most veteran fighters as
\nlightweights, Dedrek
\nSanders<\/a> and Nikolay
\nKiosse<\/a>, who had a combined 29 fights on their r\u00e9sum\u00e9s going
\ninto tonight. It was a wild back-and-forth affair with Kiosse
\ncoming close to getting a rear-naked choke in the second round.
\nHowever, Sanders (11-5) had the better cardio and was able to rock
\nKiosse (10-4-1) and then followed up with
\na series of brutal knees<\/a> to get the stoppage 28 seconds into
\nthe final frame.<\/p>\n

In the main card’s lone women’s mixed martial arts bout, Mackenzie
\nStiller<\/a> faced Kendrar McIntyre. Stillere (6-1) made
\nsurprisingly quick work of McIntyre (3-3) as she outclassed her
\nopponent on the ground. After just 1:48, Stiller locked in a
\n
\nspectacular scarf hold armlock<\/a> to get the submission win.<\/p>\n

Heavyweights Benjamin
\nWunder<\/a> and Charlie
\nCleveland<\/a> delivered the hard-hitting action that fans expected.
\nCleveland (5-1) made quick work of Wunder (3-2), who couldn’t deal
\nwith the power of “The Reaper.” After scoring a knockdown,
\nCleveland
\nclubbed his opponent<\/a> until the referee stepped in at 1:03 of
\nthe first round.<\/p>\n

Middleweight prospect Travon
\nEller<\/a> failed his latest test against the more experienced
\nZayne
\nHavener<\/a>. While “Notorious GGG” looked to be in control, Havener
\n(4-2) threatened with a kimura before transitioning to a triangle
\nchoke. Havener
\nofficially locked in the choke<\/a> and forced Eller (3-1) to tap at
\n3:33 of the first round.<\/p>\n

The main card opener saw flyweights Bryce
\nWoerner<\/a> and Randy
\nRivera-Santiago<\/a> clash. The striking of the undefeated Woerner
\n(3-0) proved to be too much for Rivera-Santiago (1-2), who crumbled
\nunder the power. The “Ragin Cajun”
\npunched his way to a TKO victory<\/a> at 3:36 of Round 3.<\/p>\n
