The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>\u2019s plans for its landmark card at
\nthe White House are taking shape.<\/p>\n

During the Friday edition of \u201cThe
\nPat McAfee Show,\u201d<\/a> Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel and TKO Group
\nPresident Mark Shapiro sat down to discuss some upcoming plans for
\nthe promotion. The hosts posed a few questions to the executives
\nregarding the show scheduled for June 14 that is slated to take
\nplace on the grounds of the White House. A couple statements,
\nincluding an inflated claim by President Donald Trump who said
\n100,000 fans would be \u201cin a stadium\u201d for this card, were
\nchallenged.<\/p>\n

The executives stated that Trump\u2019s high number included the \u201cfan
\nfest\u201d that would likely be a Washington, D.C., version of the UFC\u2019s
\nInternational Fight Week. This includes additional events during
\nthe week, fighter gatherings for fans, possible other shows going
\non from some of their other properties like Zuffa Boxing or UFC
\nBJJ, and more. As for the event itself, Emanuel specified with
\nShapiro\u2019s aid that there would be three to four thousand on the
\nSouth Lawn during the card, while there would be other ways to
\nwatch it live in the area that are still being determined.<\/p>\n

Limited Real Estate<\/h2>\n

Most significantly was the news that this event would not be built
\nlike any standard UFC offering. While the UFC 306 showcase at The
\nSphere in Las Vegas in 2024 held 10 fights for logistical reasons,
\nthe number of matches booked on the billing would be even fewer
\nthan that.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the White House, I think it\u2019s three to four thousand [that can
\nattend, on the South Lawn]. And then, there\u2019ll be other in other
\nareas. And [UFC CEO] Dana [White] is working on it right now.
\nThere\u2019s going to be approximately six to seven fights, [Sunday]\nJune 14, Flag Day. He hasn\u2019t said to us what the card\u2019s gonna be,
\nbut I know they\u2019re working pretty hard at it right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the events thus far for the promotion have all aired
\nstateside on the Paramount+ platform, the UFC and its broadcast
\npartner of Paramount will be placing this currently untitled event
\non CBS and simulcast on the streaming service. No fights have been
\nannounced, and many athletes are vying for spots on what is now
\nexpected to be a limited lineup.<\/p>\n
