\nquestion. <\/p>\n

Carano last fought in 2009 and subsequently went on to build a
\ncareer in Hollywood. Carano made headlines after she was released
\nby Lucasfilm in 2021 following controversial comments.  Carano
\nis now back in training at Syndicate MMA under coach John Wood<\/a>.
\nWood says Carano got back in shape over the last few months and is
\ntraining with professional fighters now. While Wood doesn\u2019t want to
\njump the gun, he isn\u2019t shutting down the idea of Carano returning
\nto combat sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s here every day, she\u2019s back in the mix,\u201d Wood told Home of
\nFight. \u201cShe\u2019s back training every day. We spent first couple of
\nmonths getting back in shape, she\u2019s jumped in now, working with the
\npros. So who knows? I\u2019m not at will to say what could or could not
\nhappen there\u2026 This coming back and training lit a fire under her
\nass. I think there are some things that are potentially on the
\ntable and that might be explored.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carano (7-1) was undefeated in six fights with four finishes before
\nsuffering her only loss via a brutal knockout against Cristiane
\nJustino<\/a> in her last fight in 2009. Carano played the character
\nof \u2018Carla Dune\u2019 in the famous Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
\nHowever, Carano was fired for her comments comparing Republicans in
\nthe U.S. to Jews during the Holocaust. <\/p>\n
