\nNurmagomedov<\/a> vowed to make referee Kerry Hatley\u2019s night at

\nPFL Road to Dubai<\/a> a little easier. <\/p>\n

Nurmagomedov (21-0) put his lightweight title on the line against
\nDavis in the main event at PFL Dubai on Saturday. The undefeated
\nDagestani looked nearly flawless while putting Davis to sleep with
\na reverse arm-triangle in the third round. <\/p>\n

Recent footage has surfaced of Nurmagomedov taking pre-fight
\ninstructions from referee Hatley. Hatley was explaining that if
\nNurmagomedov was in the bottom position and wanted to be stood up,
\nhe had to stall the action. However, Nurmagomedov wasn\u2019t very keen
\non listening to the rest of the instructions as he was confident
\nthat he would finish Davis.<\/p>\n

A Man of His Word<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna finish him,\u201d Nurmagomedov said.<\/p>\n

Hatley replied: \u201cYeah, good, make my job easy.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Hatley did his duty by imparting the complete set of
\ninstructions to Nurmagomedov. Nurmagomedov kept his promise by
\nfinishing Davis to mark his second successful title defense.
\nMeanwhile, the loss marked the end of a three-fight winning streak
\nfor Davis. <\/p>\n

\nsaid, \u201cI\u2019m gonna finish him.\u201d The ref replied, \u201cYeah, good – make
