\nDonchenko<\/a> has learned a lesson despite his win over Alex Morono<\/a>
\non Saturday. <\/p>\n

Donchenko took on the battle-tested veteran in a welterweight
\nmatchup at
\nUFC Vegas 113<\/a> on Saturday. The Ukrainian came out all guns
\nblazing and started beating down Morono from the onset. However,
\nMorono, sometimes considered too tough for his own good, refused to
\ngo down. While Donchenko eventually earned a unanimous decision
\nwin, he also suffered some damage from Morono. <\/p>\n

While some fighters only learn from their losses, Donchenko has
\nlearned a lesson from his win against Morono. Donchenko found his
\nperformance \u201cstupid\u201d and vows not to repeat it in the future. While
\nDonchenko doesn\u2019t mind a brutal fight, he believes he could have
\nbeen much smarter about it. The 24-year-old guarantees a brutal but
\nsmarter version of himself going forward.<\/p>\n

A Smart and Brutal Future<\/h2>\n

\u201cI learned a lot,\u201d Donchenko said at his post-fight press
\nconference. \u201cSome people only learn after losses, they are so
\nexcited about wins. I won this fight, but I\u2019m stupid, I need to
\nlearn a lot. Because I cannot fight like this anymore. I can fight
\nin a brutal way, but not like this. I can do it much smarter. Today
\nit was the stupidest version of myself. And I promise in the future
\nyou will see smart and brutal Daniil inside the Octagon.\u201d<\/p>\n

This was Donchenko\u2019s (13-2) sophomore
\nUFC<\/a> outing after a first-round knockout win in his promotional
\ndebut in September 2025. Donchenko extended his overall winning
\nstreak to six with the win over Morono. Meanwhile, Morono (24-13)
\nis in a precarious position, having dropped four in a row
\nnow. <\/p>\n

“I cannot fight like this anymore. I can fight in a brutal way, but
\nnot like this. I can so it much smarter. Today it was the stupidest
