Johnson\u2019s former foe, Henry
\nCejudo<\/a>, recently retired from the
\nUFC<\/a> following a loss to Payton
\nTalbott<\/a> in December 2025. Cejudo is now set to compete in a
\nwrestling match against fellow UFC veteran Urijah Faber<\/a>
\nat RAF 6 on Feb. 28 in Tempe, Arizona. Cejudo was recently telling
\nJohnson how excited he is about the offer, which also allegedly
\nincludes a lucrative payday. Cejudo also briefly tried to convince
\nJohnson to complete their trilogy on the wrestling mats at RAF.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know, dude\u2026 I\u2019m stoked. It\u2019s good stuff, and they\u2019re paying good
\nmoney, DJ\u2026 A lot of people are calling you out,\u201d Cejudo said. \u201cThis
\nis the trilogy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Resolute in Retirement<\/h2>\n

However, Johnson was having none of it. \u201cMighty Mouse\u201d is firm on
\nhis decision to stay retired from all sorts of competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t try to con me into this s\u2014t,\u201d Johnson replied. \u201cI don\u2019t
\nwrestle, man. I\u2019m retired and super busy. I\u2019ve got my other stuff
\ngoing on. You still want to compete\u2014you\u2019re the competitor, not
\nme.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson (25-4) defended his flyweight title with a first-round
\nknockout win over Cejudo (16-6) in their first matchup at UFC 197
\nin 2016. Cejudo avenged the loss by dethroning Johnson via split
\ndecision in their rematch at UFC 227 in 2018. Johnson was
\nsubsequently traded to ONE
\nChampionship<\/a>, where he became the flyweight champion and
\nretired after defending his title in a trilogy against Adriano
\nMoraes<\/a> in 2023. Meanwhile, Cejudo went on become a two-division
\nUFC champion by winning the bantamweight title. Cejudo abruptly
\nretired in 2020 after defending the bantamweight title against
\nDominick
\nCruz<\/a>. While \u201cTriple C\u201d returned to competition in 2023, he
\nnever won again and hung up his gloves on a four-fight
\nslump. <\/p>\n
