\nrespects Dillashaw\u2019s skillset, his dislike for the former
\nbantamweight champion stems from his infamous drug testing
\nfailures. Sterling notes that Dillashaw\u2019s former teammate turned
\nfoe, Cody
\nGarbrandt<\/a>, had long been accusing him of cheating. While
\nSterling had his doubts then, he is now free to speak his mind
\nsince Dillashaw has been caught cheating.<\/p>\n

‘He\u2019s a Lying Cheat’<\/h2>\n

\nFight. \u201cHe\u2019s a lying cheat. \u2018Oh no, I only got caught that time.\u2019
\nYeah, you only got caught that time. Your teammate outed you before
\nyou fought him. Don\u2019t get me wrong, I like T.J. in terms of
\nskillset, fun to watch, studied a lot of his games. But I always
\nheard the rumblings that he was cheating, but I couldn\u2019t say
\nanything until he got caught. He got caught, so now I can say
\neverything I want to say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dillashaw\u2019s (17-5) fall from grace was one of the steepest in
\n
\nUFC<\/a> history. Dillashaw had three bantamweight title defenses
\nacross two title reigns before he challenged Henry
\nCejudo<\/a> for the flyweight title in 2019. Dillashaw was knocked
\nout in just over half a minute and also failed a pre-fight drug
\ntest. Dillashaw was handed a two-year suspension, retroactive to
\nthe date of his fight against Cejudo. Dillashaw returned to
\ncompetition in 2021 and roped in a split decision win against
\nCory
\nSandhagen<\/a> to earn a title shot against Sterling. Dillashaw hung
\nup his gloves following his loss against Sterling. While Dillashaw
\nis still considered to be among the best bantamweights in history,
\nhis legacy will forever be marred by the PED use. <\/p>\n
