\nif he is feeling low.<\/p>\n

Murphy welcomed Pico to the UFC in the co-main event at
\nUFC 319<\/a> in August 2025 in Chicago. While Murphy was a slight
\nunderdog, he starched Pico with a spinning back elbow in the first
\nround. Murphy recently revealed that the happiness from watching
\nthat knockout never fades for him. \u201cThe Iceman\u201d wishes he had a way
\nto keep track of the number of times he has watched that knockout.
\nMurphy notes that the significance of the knockout was amplified by
\nthe timing, the precision, the high stakes, as well as the
\nmagnitude of the event.<\/p>\n

High Magnitude KO<\/h2>\n

\u201cThat was cold. I wish I had a counter to see how many times I
\nactually watched that,\u201d Murphy told the UFC. \u201cI\u2019ve watched that
\nknockout a million times. I will watch that until I\u2019m dead, until
\nI\u2019m old\u2026 The happiness I get from watching it never goes. I feel
\nlike if I\u2019m down, I might as well just watch this and bring me back
\nup. It\u2019s the precision, the timing of it and because he was putting
\nme under so much pressure as well. And the magnitude of the fight,
\nthere\u2019s so much that goes into it. Because if that was at the Apex
\non the prelims, it wouldn\u2019t have been the same.\u201d <\/p>\n

Pico (13-5) was touted as a training partner<\/a> of Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> going into his UFC debut. Chimaev dethroned Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> to win the middleweight title in the main event at UFC
\n319. Pico was expected to enter the featherweight title picture, if
\nnot earn the next gold bid, with a potential win over Murphy.<\/p>\n

Featherweight champion Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> said that Murphy might have sealed the next title
\nshot by foiling Pico\u2019s debut. However, the next title shot went to
\nDiego
\nLopes<\/a>, who came up short for the second time against
\nVolkanovski at
\nUFC 325<\/a> last month. Murphy (17-0) and Movsar
\nEvloev<\/a> (19-0) will now compete in a potential title eliminator
\nat
\nUFC London<\/a> on March 21 at the O2 Arena in London. Meanwhile,
\nPico hasn\u2019t fought since his loss against Murphy. <\/p>\n
