\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> continues to build the talent pool
\nin its women\u2019s flyweight division.<\/p>\n

The promotion has signed former
\nLegacy Fighting Alliance<\/a> flyweight queen Cheyanne
\nBowers<\/a>, with a debut date and opponent to be determined. The
\nPFL confirmed the new addition following an initial report from
\nMMAjunkie.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A Knack for Submissions<\/h2>\n

Bowers owns a 7-2 professional mark, with all but one of her bouts
\ntaking place under the LFA banner. The 31-year-old known as \u201cThe
\nBoss\u201d captured 125-pound gold with a first-round submission of
\nVeronika
\nBorisova<\/a> at LFA 193 in September 2024. After losing the strap
\nto Shannon
\nClark<\/a> in her first title defense, Bowers rebounded to post
\nback-to-back submission victories against Elizabeth
\nRodriguez<\/a> and Maritza
\nSanchez<\/a> in her next two outings. The Omaha, Nebraska, native
\nhas finished five of her career wins via submission.<\/p>\n

Bowers will join a PFL women\u2019s flyweight division that includes the
\nlikes of Dakota
\nDitcheva<\/a>, Liz
\nCarmouche<\/a>, Taila
\nSantos<\/a> and Viviane Arajuo, among others. The flyweight title is
\ncurrently vacant.<\/p>\n
