\nJiu-Jitsu recently announced that they have signed
\nMagomedsharipov.<\/p>\n

ACBJJ president Zaurbek Khasiev wrote in a statement on social
\nmedia: \u201cMajor decisions are made in silence. Negotiations are
\ncomplete. Zabit
\nMagomedsharipov<\/a> joins ACBJJ. We\u2019re assembling the elite, stay
\ntuned.\u201d <\/p>\n

An Early Exit<\/h2>\n

Magomedsharipov (18-1) is considered one of the biggest what ifs in
\nthe history of MMA. Few have retired from the sport as early and as
\nabruptly as the Dagestani star. Magomedsharipov has finished 13 of
\nhis 18 career wins while suffering one professional loss.
\nMagomedsharipov was undefeated in six
\nUFC<\/a> outings with wins over Jeremy
\nStephens<\/a> and Calvin
\nKattar<\/a>, which had made him relevant in the featherweight title
\npicture.<\/p>\n

However, Magomedsharipov was just 28 when he stopped fighting after
\n2019, as he was dealing with multiple health issues.
\nMagomedsharipov officially
\nhung up his gloves<\/a> in 2022 to pursue a medical
\ncareer. <\/p>\n
