Oliveira had recently admitted that his days at bantamweight were

\nBautista<\/a> earlier this month was seemingly the final nail in the
\ncoffin. \u201cLokDog\u201d is now calling for a featherweight matchup against
\nformer
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> bantamweight champion Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew category, common opponents with zero risk, fight more times in
\na year, make more money, reach the belt faster, not to mention that
\nI\u2019m hearing @funkmasterMMA has nightmares about me and already
\nwarned his friend @MerabDvalishvili about it \u2014 if he wants it, I
\nwant it,\u201d Oliveira wrote on X.<\/p>\n

Sterling downplayed the callout, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cLol bruuh\u2026 cmon man. Don\u2019t do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oliveira responded:<\/p>\n

\u201cI want new challenges. You’re still a champion, you spoke well of
\nme, I admire that, but you’re the only good guy in the 66kg weight
\nclass that I know, so that’s what I want.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oliveira then hinted that some within that UFC brass don\u2019t like
\nSterling and offered to gradually eliminate \u201cFunkmaster.\u201d Oliveira
