\nStrickland<\/a> on Feb. 21 in a potential middleweight title
\neliminator. A win over Strickland would potentially make \u201cFluffy\u201d a
\nfrontrunner for the next middleweight title shot against Chimaev
\n(15-0).<\/p>\n

Hernandez believes his grappling defense would hold up well against
\nChimaev\u2019s relentless wrestling. However, Hernandez is not wary of
\ngoing to the ground against \u201cBorz.\u201d Hernandez believes he is way
\nmore well-rounded than the champion, whose wrestling is his bread
\nand butter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy grappling defense is really good,\u201d Hernandez told New York Post
\nSports. \u201cI think I can force [Khamzat] to have to stay on his feet.
\nHonestly, even with him, I don\u2019t give a f*ck where it goes,
\ngrappling, striking, standing up, he\u2019s got one thing and I\u2019ve got a
\nf*cking arsenal. So I really don\u2019t give a f*ck. I want my time to
\nprove that I\u2019m the champion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hernandez (15-2) is currently on a spectacular eight-fight winning
\nstreak with six finishes. Hernandez\u2019s last four wins have come
\nagainst elite opposition in Roman
\nKopylov<\/a>, Michel
\nPereira<\/a>, Brendan
\nAllen<\/a> and Roman
\nDolidze<\/a>. His upcoming opponent, Strickland (29-7), also hailed
\nhim as a better wrestler than Chimaev.<\/p>\n
