Nate
\nDiaz<\/a> is looking for a fight.<\/p>\n

At least that was the message from the Stockton, California, native
\nwhen he briefly spoke to TMZ Sports on the red carpet during a
\nparty over Super Bowl weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready to get back in real action,\u201d Diaz said in a video that
\nwas posted on Monday. \u201cI want to fight either [Conor] McGregor 3. I
\nwant to fight maybe Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a>, if he stops being such a p\u2014y, and then maybe Mike Perry<\/a>.
\nWe\u2019ll see what happens in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diaz rose to superstardom thanks to his rivalry with McGregor,
\nparticularly when he submitted for the former two-division champion
\nin their first meeting at UFC 196 in March 2016. Diaz would lose
\nthe rematch to the Dublin native via majority decision at UFC 202.
\nWhile McGregor has seemed intent on fighting at the UFC\u2019s White
\nHouse event, the \u201cNotorious\u201d hasn\u2019t competed since breaking his leg
\nagainst Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> in July 2021.<\/p>\n

As for Poirier, the popular Louisiana native retired from the sport
\nfollowing a loss to Max
\nHolloway<\/a> in a farewell bout at UFC 318 last July. Poirier and
\nDiaz were scheduled to meet at UFC 230 before \u201cThe Diamond\u201d
\nwithdrew from the contest due to injury.<\/p>\n

Perry hasn\u2019t set foot in the Octagon since a loss to Daniel
\nRodriguez<\/a> at UFC on ABC 2 in April 2021. However, he has raised
\nhis profile as arguably the top star in BKFC today. Perry is 6-0 in
\nthe promotion and current carries the title of \u201cKing of
\nViolence.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018America Gang\u2019<\/h2>\n

As for Diaz, he parted ways with the Las Vegas-based promotion
\nfollowing a fourth-round submission of Tony
\nFerguson<\/a> in the UFC 279 headliner in September 2022. Since
\nthen, he has faced Jake Paul<\/a> and
\nJorge
\nMasvidal<\/a> in the boxing ring, with his last appearance coming in
\na majority decision victory over \u201cGamebred\u201d in July 2024.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old Diaz, who is not currently under UFC contract, also
\nexpressed interest in fighting at the high-profile White House
\nevent slated for June 14.<\/p>\n

“Yeah, that would be dope, too,” Diaz said. “America gang, baby.
\nYou already know we’re popping.\u201d<\/p>\n
