\nUFC Houston<\/a> post-fight press conference this past Saturday,
\nDana White indicated that he preferred to see Chimaev defend his
\nmiddleweight belt at least once before moving up to 185 pounds.
\nHowever, the
\nUFC<\/a> CEO seemed more open to the possibility of \u201cPoatan\u201d moving
\nup to heavyweight.<\/p>\n

\u201cPereira is one of those guys who always steps up and does what we
\nneed him to do. Whatever this guy wants to do, we\u2019re going to work
\nwith him,\u201d White said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, that same Saturday, some 5,000 miles away, the UFC light
\nheavyweight champion posted a video enjoying the champions’ parade
\nat the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, a major event on the Brazilian
\ncalendar that attracts millions of people. In a video shared on
\nInstagram, the UFC heavyweight champion showed the VIP area where
\nhe was enjoying the party with some friends.<\/p>\n

“If there’s a cheaper life, it’s no good,” he joked in a video
\nposted to his stories.<\/p>\n
