\nO’Malley<\/a> wants to renegotiate with the
\nUFC<\/a> before his current contract expires. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley (19-3) recently revealed that he has only two fights left
\non his current UFC contract. According to \u201cSuga,\u201d the UFC doesn\u2019t
\nlike fighters to exhaust their contracts as it opens the door for
\noffers from competitors. However, O\u2019Malley can\u2019t imagine any other
\npromotion that he would rather be in. Hence, O\u2019Malley is looking
\nforward to renegotiating with the UFC when he travels to Las Vegas
\nnext month. The former UFC bantamweight champion is expecting a
\nbigger contract, especially since he is coming off a win.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have two fights left on my deal, so ideally I\u2019ll probably go
\nrenegotiate,\u201d O\u2019Malley said on YouTube. \u201cThe UFC really doesn’t
\nlike people fighting their contract out. Because that\u2019s when you
\ncan start getting offers from other people. It\u2019s like \u2013 where the
\nf\u2014k else you want to go? Typically, they don\u2019t want you to fight
\nyour contract out. So I\u2019m assuming, next time I go to Vegas in
\nMarch, I\u2019m gonna renegotiate my contract. Technically, it should be
\nbigger than the last contract anyway, especially because I’m coming
\noff a win.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley won the bantamweight title against Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a> in 2023 and defended it once before losing it to
\nMerab
\nDvalishvili<\/a> the next year. O\u2019Malley failed to reclaim his title
\nagainst Dvalishvili in their rematch last year. \u201cSuga\u201d recently
\nreturned to winning ways with a unanimous decision victory over
\nYadong
\nSong<\/a> at UFC 324<\/a>
