\nUFC Houston<\/a> on Saturday. <\/p>\n

Medic (13-3) co-headlined the card against welterweight veteran
\nGeoff
\nNeal<\/a> at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. \u201cThe Doctor\u201d sent
\nNeal to the shadow realm with a left hook to the temple in the very
\nfirst round. <\/p>\n

Medic revealed that he was congratulated by President Donald Trump
\nimmediately after his win. Trump lauded Medic for dispatching Neal,
\nwho was known for his durability until his last few losses. Medic,
\nwho was born in Serbia, also shares ethnic similarity to the first
\nlady of the United States, Melania Trump, who was born in Slovenia.
\nMedic had also pleaded for the resolution of his immigration issues
\nin his post-fight Octagon interview. Trump promised that the
\n
\nUFC<\/a> welterweight would be free to travel. Medic was overwhelmed
\nby the conversation, which seemed unreal initially.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey brought me back,\u201d Medic told the UFC. \u201cDana was in the
\noffice, as soon as I walked in, he puts the president on the phone.
\nAnd Mr. President is like, \u2018Hey, that was a hell of a fight, he\u2019s a
\ntough cookie and you just knocked him out.\u2019 And I was like \u2013 Is
\nthis really happening? I couldn\u2019t believe it. Anyways, I loved Mr.
\nPresident and his first lady, his wife. She\u2019s from where I\u2019m
\nbasically from, Slovenia-Serbia, it\u2019s almost the same. She speaks
\nmy language, I mentioned that. It\u2019s just been a wonderful
\nconversation. He said, \u2018You\u2019re set, you\u2019re good to go, wherever you
\nneed to go, you\u2019re gonna walk in like a president of the United
\nStates.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Medic walked away with a $100,000 \u201cPerformance of the Night\u201d bonus
\nfor his knockout win over Neal at UFC Houston. Medic has finished
\nall 13 of his career wins so far and is currently on a three-fight
\nfirst-round knockout streak.  <\/p>\n
