\nbooking, which was later confirmed by the UFC on social media.<\/p>\n

Della Maddalena is coming off a lopsided five-round unanimous
\ndecision defeat to Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> in his first title defense at UFC 322 this past
\nNovember. That snapped an 18-fight professional winning streak for
\nthe Aussie, who claimed welterweight gold by outpointing Belal
\nMuhammad<\/a> at UFC 315.<\/p>\n

Prates has been victorious in six of seven Octagon appearances \u2014
\nwith his lone defeat coming at the hands of Ian Garry<\/a> in
\nApril 2025. \u201cThe Nightmare\u201d has since rebounded to post
\nback-to-back knockout victories over Geoff Neal<\/a>
\nand Leon
\nEdwards<\/a>. Prates has finished all six of his UFC triumphs via
\nknockout.<\/p>\n
