While Charles
\nOliveira<\/a> catches crabs for fun now, that was not always the
\ncase. <\/p>\n

Oliveira recently revisited the coastal town of Guaruja, Brazil,
\nwhere he was raised. Oliveira also went crab hunting, an activity
\nhe initially started for fun as a kid. However, \u201cDo Bronx\u201d
\ngradually started catching crabs to make money to help his family
\nand his MMA career. Oliveira recalls that he would also give his
\ngrandmother some crabs. The former
\nUFC<\/a> lightweight champion now has the luxury of going crab
\ncatching as a hobby. As Oliveira digs in the mud for crabs, he says
\nhe is in his \u201cnatural habitat.\u201d <\/p>\n

A Way of Life<\/h2>\n

\u201cRight now we\u2019re at Claudevan\u2019s ranch,\u201d Oliveira said in a UFC Countdown video<\/a>. \u201cI have been coming here
\nsince I was a kid. This is where we go fishing, catch crabs, and
\nreconnect with nature a bit. At first, I\u2019d just do it for fun with
\nmy friends and uncles when I lived here. Later on, I started doing
\nit to make some money to help with competitions and my family. I\u2019d
\neven give some to my grandma. Now I do it more as a hobby, I really
\nenjoy it\u2026 This is my natural habitat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oliveira (36-11) is scheduled to challenge Max
\nHolloway<\/a> (27-8) for the BMF title in the main event at
\nUFC 326<\/a> on March 7 in Las Vegas. Oliveira comes off a
\nsubmission win over Mateusz
\nGamrot<\/a> that saw him rebound from a knockout loss against
\nIlia
\nTopuria<\/a>. Meanwhile, Holloway also rebounded from a knockout
\nloss against Topuria with a win over Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> in his last outing. <\/p>\n
