Dana White isn\u2019t shy about his political alignment. <\/p>\n

White is an avid supporter of President Donald Trump and even
\nactively campaigned for him in the 2024 elections. White\u2019s
\nrelationship with Trump goes way back to when the
\nUFC<\/a> was on the verge of bankruptcy. While the sport was being
\ncondemned as \u201chuman cockfighting,\u201d Trump opened the doors of his
\ncasino to host UFC fights. Trump has since been closely associated
\nwith White and has become a regular at major UFC events. <\/p>\n

White\u2019s unabashed political tie with Trump inevitably poses the
\nquestion of whether it will affect the UFC fan base. However, White
\nisn\u2019t one to take the road to safety by being non-political. The
\nUFC president and CEO says that people with opposing political
\nopinions can just be authentic without agreeing with each
\nother.<\/p>\n

\u2018Just Be Authentic\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cHow about you be authentic and just be yourself? Just be
\nauthentic,\u201d White told CBS Sunday Morning. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to agree
\nwith me and don\u2019t have to like it, and I don\u2019t have to agree with
\nyou, but we can all still just get along, and that\u2019s how this is
\nsupposed to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

The UFC will be hosting a one-of-a-kind card on the South Lawn of
\nthe White House in June. The event being billed as a celebration of
\nAmerica\u2019s 250th year of independence will go down on June 14,
\nTrump\u2019s birthday. White has assured that the UFC will bear all
\ncosts of hosting the event and no taxpayer money will be
\nspent. <\/p>\n
