Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> believes the
\nUFC<\/a> shouldn\u2019t be disappointed about his brawl with Georgio
\nPoullas. <\/p>\n

Tsarukyan has been accused of unruly behavior more than once. The
\nUFC lightweight contender faced Poullas in a wrestling match at RAF
\n6 last weekend. Poullas tried to slap Tsarukyan, poke his eyes, and
\ngrab his fingers, all of which are considered illegal moves.
\nTsarukyan eventually beat Poullas by points and landed one clean
\npunch on the ground. The entire place erupted in absolute chaos as
\nmembers of both teams flooded the mats. While security was quick to
\nintervene, the brawl took a while to subside. <\/p>\n

While the UFC has accused Tsarukyan of poor discipline in the past,
\n\u201cAhalkalakets\u201d believes they won\u2019t be unhappy about the RAF brawl.
\nTsarukyan argues that he maintained his calm throughout the match
\nwhile Poullas repeatedly tried to provoke him. Tsarukyan believes
\nthe UFC should be happy that he refused to get beaten up by a
\nfreestyle wrestler, beat him instead, and proved the supremacy of
\nthe UFC.<\/p>\n

\u2018Not My Fault\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cNo, no, this is not my fault,\u201d Tsarukyan said on “The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201cEverybody is on my
\nside now. I was waiting six minutes, he was punching me. How long
\ndo you want me to wait?… They should be happy that a UFC fighter
\ndidn\u2019t let somebody beat him up. UFC fighter number one went into
\nfreestyle wrestling, beat the freestyle wrestler, and showed the
\nlevel of the UFC.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite being the top UFC lightweight contender, Tsarukyan (23-3)
\nhas been sidelined from the title picture for over a year since
\npulling out of a scheduled title fight against Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> last year. However, Tsarukyan\u2019s unruly behavior might
\nalso played a role in his title shot snub. Tsarukyan punched a fan
\nwhile walking out for his UFC 300 clash against Charles
\nOliveira<\/a> in 2024. Tsarukyan also headbutted Dan Hooker<\/a>,
\nallegedly breaking his nose, at the weigh-ins of their UFC Qatar
\nclash in November 2025. <\/p>\n
