Jiri
\nProchazka<\/a> ideally wouldn\u2019t have fought so close to the expected
\ndate of the birth of his first baby. <\/p>\n

Prochazka is set to fight Carlos
\nUlberg<\/a> for the light heavyweight title in the main event at
\nUFC
\n327<\/a> on April 11 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
\nMeanwhile, Prochazka and his girlfriend are expected to have their
\nfirst baby, a girl, between April 13 and April 15. <\/p>\n

Prochazka recently revealed that the originally expected date for
\nhim to fight was on May 11. However, Prochazka\u2019s girlfriend gave
\nhim permission to fight on that date only for a massive matchup.
\nProchazka then started negotiating with the UFC for a title fight,
\nwhich is now scheduled even closer to the expected date of the
\nbirth of his girl.<\/p>\n

It Has to Be a Big Fight<\/h2>\n

\u201cI would like to rather fight later, in June or whenever,\u201d
\nProchazka said on “The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201cOne month after the
\nbirth [of my baby] will be the best. My girlfriend told me, \u2018If you
\nhave the title fight 11th of May \u2014 because that was the possible
\ndate \u2014 let\u2019s do that. But it has to be big fight. Don\u2019t fight just
\nsome similar fight because you can fight all year these other
\nnormal fights.\u2019 Then we started negotiating with the UFC about the
\ntitle fight. And here it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prochazka (32-5) has finished every opponent in the
\nUFC<\/a> with the exception of Alex
\nPereira<\/a>, who beat him twice for the title. Meanwhile, Ulberg
\n(13-1) is on a nine-fight winning streak with six finishes since
\nsuffering his lone career loss in his UFC debut in 2021.<\/p>\n
