\nUFC Mexico<\/a> headliner at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Saturday
\nnight. In victory, Kavanagh was able to rebound from a knockout
\nloss to Charles
\nJohnson<\/a> in his last outing at UFC Shanghai this past
\nAugust.<\/p>\n
\nsaid told the UFC. \u201cBelieve in yourself, believe in the people
\nbehind you and let the rest write itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nlow kicks, and he stuffed all eight of his opponent\u2019s takedown
\nattempts over the course of the 25-minute affair. Still, it was a
\nclosely contested fight, and Moreno did his best to slow his
\nyounger opponent down with plenty of control time against the
\nfence.<\/p>\n
\nKavanagh said. \u201cHe\u2019s dangerous. He\u2019s a tough person\u2026 I had to stay
\nswitched on the whole fight \u2014 even towards the end, I had to double
\ncheck. I\u2019m very critical about myself. We got the win, and I\u2019m very
\ngrateful.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMoreno reeling, and it appeard the end might be near for \u201cAssassin
\nBaby.\u201d Moreno was able to weather the storm and make Kavanagh work
\nfor the entire five rounds.<\/p>\nLooking to Finish<\/h2>\n
\nsaid. \u201cAt the same time, it\u2019s Brandon Moreno, who\u2019s very tough and
\nit\u2019s a five-round fight.\u201d<\/p>\n
\ndefeat Moreno on short notice.<\/p>\n
\ntwo-time champion in three weeks and we did it,\u201d Kavanagh said. \u201cI
\njust do what they say.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJohnson last year, he has now emerged as a new contender at 125
\npounds following his successful venture to Mexico City. That makes
\nthe lofty goal he set for himself at least a little more
