\nLuna<\/a> recognizes the mistake that led to the end of his
\nfinishing streak. <\/p>\n

Luna (8-0) took on fellow newcomer Angel
\nPacheco<\/a> (7-4) in a bantamweight tilt at
\nUFC Mexico<\/a> on Saturday at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City,
\nMexico. Being a former Mexican wrestling champion, Luna was
\nexpected to dominate Pacheco on the ground. But Pacheco showed
\nimpressive defense in getting back to his feet every time he was
\ntaken down. However, Luna outstruck Pacheco on the feet to earn a
\nunanimous decision win. <\/p>\n

Luna\u2019s win over Pacheco was the first time he saw the judges\u2019
\nscorecards. Luna believes he could have kept his finishing streak
\nintact if he hadn\u2019t gone head hunting against Pacheco. The
\nundefeated 21-year-old believes he instead should have targeted the
\nbody of a durable fighter like Pacheco.<\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t keep up with my streak of finishes but I think I did
\nquite a good performance for the people to enjoy\u2026 I don\u2019t believe
\nanyone has the privilege to have a show like that for 15 minutes,\u201d
\nLuna told the UFC. \u201cI think it was 15 minutes that people were
\nenjoying every second of. I really dedicate myself to the people
\nand not be a boring fighter. And I think that\u2019s why the UFC has
\nbeen here\u2026 I would say, with people like Pacheco, motherf\u2014-ers
\nthat\u2019s strong and doesn\u2019t go down, just aim for the body. That
\nkills them. I think I was aiming too hard for the head for the
\nknockout. But I do think the belly was a part that I was missing.
\nSo maybe emphasize a little more on that and get another
\nfinish.\u201d
