\na title shot. <\/p>\n

Borralho (18-2) took on Reinier
\nde Ridder<\/a> in the co-main event at
\nUFC 326<\/a> on Saturday in Las Vegas. \u201cThe Natural\u201d displayed a
\nwell-rounded skillset while completely outclassing De Ridder on the
\nfeet en route to a unanimous decision win. <\/p>\n

Borralho called out Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> in his post-fight Octagon interview. Borralho notes
\nthat while he called out Du Plessis a while back, the South African
\nwanted him to get a few more wins. Having racked up his eighth
\n
\nUFC<\/a> win, Borralho now wants the former champion to show up.
\nBorralho believes a win over Du Plessis guarantees him a
\nmiddleweight title shot. The Brazilian would also like to avenge
\nhis last loss against Nassourdine
\nImavov<\/a> in a title fight.<\/p>\n

A Long-Desired Matchup<\/h2>\n

\u201cI been calling this guy out since my second fight in the UFC,\u201d
\nBorralho said in a post-fight interview with the UFC. \u201cI think I
\ncalled him out three or four times. And he tweeted something like,
\n\u2018Go get two more wins and then we can talk about it.\u2019 I got eight
\nwins now, brother, where are you? Big respect for you, you are a
\ngreat athlete, great fighter. You were a great champion, very
\ndominant. But I want to test myself against you, so let\u2019s f\u2014-ing
\ngo, brother. Appear\u2026 100%, after I beat him I\u2019m next in line. Then
\nI can avenge my loss if Imavov is the champion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Borralho was undefeated in seven UFC outings and on the cusp of
\ntitle contention last year. However, \u201cThe Natural\u201d suffered a
\nunanimous decision loss in a title eliminator against Imavov, who
\nis widely considered the next middleweight title contender.
\nMeanwhile, Du Plessis (23-3) won the title against Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> in 2024 and defended it twice before losing it to
\nKhamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> at UFC 319 last year. <\/p>\n
