Eddie Hearn believes Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> can do without the
\nUFC<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Aspinall (15-3) has had a minor falling out with the UFC since his
\nno contest in his first heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nlast year. Aspinall decided not to continue after a double eye poke
\nfrom Gane in the first round. While Aspinall has since undergone
\nmultiple surgeries, Dana White hinted that the heavyweight
\nchampion\u2019s injury wasn\u2019t as severe as he made it seem. <\/p>\n

Aspinall recently made headlines by signing with the management of
\nEddie Hearn, who isn\u2019t exactly an ally of White. Hearn has since
\nsaid Aspinall\u2019s purses surprised him. According to the Matchroom
\nBoxing chairman, Aspinall would have earned 10 times as much in
\nboxing. Hearn believes the Aspinall doesn\u2019t need the UFC as much as
\nthe promotion needs him right now. According to Hearn, the UFC
\nrequires heavyweight stars right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I walked through Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>\u2019s purses, I nearly fell off the chair because I know
\nthat if it was our business, he’d be making 10 time as much money,\u201d
\nHearn said<\/a> on Aspinall\u2019s YouTube channel. \u201cHis return
\nis gonna be massive. As an organization, they need him. Forget he
\nneeds the UFC. He actually doesn’t need the UFC now here, but they
\nneed him because they need heavyweight stars.\u201d
