Controversial Histories<\/h2>\n

Tsarukyan (23-3) has been active in grappling tournaments as he
\nremains sidelined from the UFC lightweight title picture. Tsarukyan
\nmost recently competed in freestyle wrestling against social media
\ngrappling star Georgio Poullas, who seemingly committed multiple
\nfouls during the match at RAF 6. Tsarukyan won the bout and punched
\nPoullas, leading to absolute chaos in the arena. Tsarukyan was
\noriginally matched up in a submission grappling rematch against
\nPoullas at Hype FC on March 11. However, the bout fell through soon
\nafter as Poullas pulled out, citing his preference to compete under
\nRAF. Tsarukyan and Poullas are now scheduled to meet in a rematch
\nat RAF 7 on March 28. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Mokaev\u2019s (15-0) UFC contract was bizarrely not renewed
\nafter a win over Manel Kape<\/a>
\nin 2024. While some blamed Mokaev\u2019s conduct outside the Octagon,
\nthe undefeated flyweight claims he had been warned by the UFC to
\nchange his grappling-heavy style. Mokaev has since picked up a win
\nat Karate Combat and recently became the inaugural
\nBrave Combat Federation<\/a> flyweight champion with a head kick
\nknockout. <\/p>\n
