\nWing\u201d as part of a ceremony this summer. It\u2019s the first-ever
\nwomen\u2019s bout to enter the UFC Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

\nCEO Dana White in a release. \u201cThis fight was incredible. You had
\ntwo talented savages that wanted the strawweight title more than
\nanything and neither one of them backed down during this fight. I
\nknew this was going to be a badass fight and it absolutely
\ndelivered. Congrats to Joanna and Weili on a fight that will always

\non March 7, 2020 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. While Zhang
\nbattered Jedrzecjzyk with her left hook and straight right, the
\nPolish standout got stronger as the bout progressed, firing back
\nwith punching combinations and kicks. Over time, Jedrzejczyk
\ndeveloped a massive hematoma on her forehead that would go down as
\none of the lasting images of the fight.<\/p>\n
\ncombined to land 351 significant strikes \u2014 the most over in a
\nwomen\u2019s UFC bout. Ultimately, Zhang landed the more consequential
\noffense, allowing her to capture a hard-fought split-decision
\ntriumph. The matchup was selected as Sherdog.com\u2019s \u201cFight of the
\nYear\u201d for 2020.<\/p>\n
\nmore emphatic for the Chinese star, as she knocked out her rival
\nwith a spinning back fist in 2:28 into the second round.
\nJedrzejczyk would ultimately retire following that defeat.<\/p>\n\n
