Sean
\nO’Malley<\/a> wants to be in the
\nUFC<\/a>\u2019s good graces.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley (19-3) is scheduled to fight Aiemann
\nZahabi<\/a> (14-2) at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. A company man through and through,
\nO\u2019Malley is honored to have the opportunity to fight at the White
\nHouse in a one-of-a-kind event. \u201cSuga\u201d will look to capitalize on
\nthe opportunity and build his brand so he can earn more outside the
\nOctagon. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley believes it\u2019s not a good idea to make enemies with the
\nUFC. Speaking of which, O\u2019Malley doesn\u2019t think Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> was wise to sign with the management of Eddie Hearn,
\nwho isn\u2019t exactly a friend of Dana White.<\/p>\n

Building a Relationship<\/h2>\n

\u201cI have a good relationship with the UFC,\u201d O\u2019Malley said on
\n“The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201cI am honored that
\nthey asked me to be on the White House card, it\u2019s gonna be huge for
\nme. I\u2019m gonna go out there, make some money. But I\u2019m gonna go out
\nthere and build the \u2018Suga\u2019 brand. I\u2019m gonna go out there and put on
\na beautiful performance, knock people out, have people remember me.
\nHopefully that flows into making more money outside the UFC\u2026 You
\ndon\u2019t want to make enemies with the UFC. I don\u2019t get what people
\nare doing. I saw that Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> signed with the Hearn dude. I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s a
\ngreat idea either. You\u2019re gonna have someone manage you that Dana
\ndoesn\u2019t really like? That doesn\u2019t seem really smart. I\u2019m not that
\nsmart, but that\u2019s how I see it.\u201d <\/p>\n

While UFC fighter pay has long been controversial, it is making
\nheadlines again after Zuffa Boxing signed Conor Benn. Zuffa, owned
\nby the UFC\u2019s parent company, signed Benn for $15 million. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Aspinall has had a small falling out with the UFC after
\nhis heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nended in a no contest. Aspinall chose not to continue after getting
\npoked simultaneously in both eyes by Gane. However, Dana White was
\nseemingly not impressed and publicly downplayed Aspinall\u2019s injury.
\nAspinall recently made headlines by signing with the management of
\nHearn, considered a longtime rival of White. <\/p>\n
