\nTopuria<\/a> is on a different level than Justin
\nGaethje<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Interim lightweight champion Gaethje will challenge the champion
\nTopuria in a title unifier in the main event at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. A former training partner of
\nTopuria, Masvidal has always lauded the undefeated
\nGeorgian-Spaniard\u2019s skillset and power. Masvidal believes \u201cEl
\nMatador\u201d will hand Gaethje a beating that he won\u2019t be able to
\nrecover from. \u201cGamebred\u201d predicts that Topuria will retire Gaethje
\nat the White House in June.<\/p>\n

Ilia Flatlines Him<\/h2>\n

\u201cI think Ilia does Gaethje worse\u2026 I\u2019ve trained with Ilia plenty,\u201d
\nMasvidal said on the “Death Row MMA\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cSince his first UFC fight,
\nI\u2019ve been calling it, \u2018This guy\u2019s gonna be champ.\u2019 He\u2019s gonna beat
\nthe f\u2014-ing brakes off [Gaethje]. He retires Homer Simpson that day
\nin the f\u2014-ing cage. He\u2019ll never come back fighting that dude. Homer
\nSimpson is not walking out of that alive. I think [Ilia] just
\nflatlines him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Topuria (17-0) won the featherweight title by knocking out
\nAlexander Volkaovski in 2024. Topuria defended his title by handing
\nMax
\nHolloway<\/a> the lone knockout loss of his career. Topuria then
\nmoved up to lightweight and knocked out Charles
\nOliveira<\/a> to win the vacant title last year.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Gaethje is 4-1 in his last five, with the loss coming in
\na brutal beatdown against Holloway. Gaethje (27-5) has since
\nrebounded with decision wins over Rafael
\nFiziev<\/a> and Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a>. While Gaethje landed substantial damage on Pimblett
\nto win the interim lightweight title this past January, it wasn\u2019t
\nconsidered the most technical performance. Gaethje has opened as a
\n+425 underdog against Topuria, a -600 favorite. <\/p>\n
