The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> and the Federal Bureau of
\nInvestigation are joining forces.<\/p>\n

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced on Wednesday that the UFC
\nwill visit FBI Special Agent Academy in Quantico, Va. on March 14
\nand 15 to host a seminar for academy students and senior FBI
\nstaff.<\/p>\n

Curent and former UFC athletes that are expected to be in
\nattendance include Justin
\nGaethje<\/a>, Jorge
\nMasvidal<\/a>, Chris
\nWeidman<\/a>, Claudia
\nGadelha<\/a>, Michael
\nChandler<\/a>, Manel Kape<\/a>
\nand Renzo
\nGracie<\/a>. UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard will also be part of the
\nproceedings.<\/p>\n

According to a release, the UFC talent \u201cwill provide insight into
\nhow they train for competition, as well as demonstrate specific
\ntechniques and tactics, offering a unique perspective to the
\nstudents as they prepare to enter the field office.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to announce this historic seminar between the FBI and
\nthe UFC at Quantico,\u201d said FBI director Kash Patel. \u201cThis is a
\ntremendous opportunity for our FBI agents to learn and train with
\nsome of the greatest athletes on earth \u2014-helping the world\u2019s
\npremier law enforcement agency be even better prepared to protect
\nthe American people. Dana White has changed the game in the mixed
\nmartial arts industry and we\u2019re extremely honored to be partnered
\nwith him, the professionals, and the UFC. We are grateful for their
\nshared love of our nation, so that we can better defend her.\u201d<\/p>\n

A New Training Option<\/h2>\n

The release states that the collaboration is part of an \u201coverall
\ninitiative by the FBI to provide its agents with exciting,
\ninnovative training options.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nday to protect this country,\u201d White said. \u201cOur UFC fighters are
\nsome of the baddest men and women on the planet and they are
\nheading to Quantico to train the best FBI agents in mixed martial
