\nMakhachev (28-1) and Topuria (17-0) for a while now. When Dana
\nWhite promised one of the biggest possible matchups at the White
\nHouse, fans inevitably thought of Makhachev and Topuria. <\/p>\n

However, Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> is now scheduled to challenge Topuria in a lightweight
\ntitle unifier in the main event at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. Soon after the card was announced,
\nrumours surfaced that the original plan was to book Makhachev vs.
\nTopuria for the welterweight title at the White House. Makhachev
\nallegedly withdrew from the matchup a day before the card was
\nannounced. Dana White refuted the rumor that Makhachev vs. Topuria
\nwas the original plan. However, the UFC head honcho says that
\nMakhachev is injured. <\/p>\n

\u2018We\u2019ll Do It For Free\u2019<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, Topuria recently accused Makhachev of making an excuse
\nto duck him. \u201cEl Matador\u201d claims he didn\u2019t hesitate for a second
\nbefore accepting the booking against Makhachev. However, a day
\nlater, Topuria was allegedly informed that Makhachev was
\ninjured.  Makhachev didn\u2019t take long to respond to the
\naccusations, claiming both parties know who chickened out.
\nMakhachev vows to give Topuria what he asked for someday. The
\nwelterweight champion also hinted that Topuria was asking for a
\nhefty payday to fight him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe both know who chickened out here,\u201d Makhachev wrote on social
\nmedia. \u201cYou can cover your cowardice with nasty tweets, but don\u2019t
\nworry, one day you will get what you asked for! and your fat
\nass manager don\u2019t have to ask for billions to fight me, we\u2019ll do it
\nfor free.\u201d<\/p>\n
