\nO’Malley<\/a> has the privilege of choosing his opponents. <\/p>\n

Sandhagen (18-6) has been calling out O\u2019Malley (19-3) for a
\nmatchup, which would be a striking treat for fans. Instead,
\nO\u2019Malley is now booked to fight Aiemann
\nZahabi<\/a> at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. <\/p>\n

Sandhagen holds Sean O\u2019Malley responsible for them not being booked
\nagainst each other. O\u2019Malley claims he was never offered Sandhagen
\nfor the White House. However, Sandhagen believes that\u2019s not how it
\nworks for \u201cSuga.\u201d Sandhagen thinks O\u2019Malley has the privilege of
\nrejecting and picking fights of his choice. According to Sandhagen,
\nnot mentioning his name specifically was a clear duck from
\nO\u2019Malley. Sandhagen has now given up hope of the O\u2019Malley matchup
\nafter multiple callouts. \u201cThe Sandman\u201d also believes O\u2019Malley will
\nretire if he loses to Zahabi or even if he doesn\u2019t see a certain
\nroute to a title run next.<\/p>\n

\u2018A Cop-Out Punk Move\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think the dude\u2019s ever going to fight me,\u201d Sandhagen told
\nHome of Fight<\/a>. \u201c\u2026 If he doesn’t win this fight,
\nI think he’ll retire. If he doesn’t get another title shot or run
\nor fights for a belt again, he’s going to retire. The whole \u2018I was
\nnever offered to fight Sandhagen\u2019 thing is just not how it works
\nwith a guy like Sean O\u2019Malley. Sean
\nO’Malley<\/a> gets asked, \u2018Hey, what do you think of this?\u2019 And he
\nsays. And any other answer than Cory
\nSandhagen<\/a> is a cop-out punk move. Me and him is the fight to
\nmake. In my opinion, it\u2019s on him that it wasn\u2019t made.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley rebounded from consecutive title losses against Merab
\nDvalishvili<\/a> with a win over Yadong Song<\/a>
\nat UFC 324<\/a>
\nthis past January. Meanwhile, Sandhagen is 1-2 in his last three
\nand coming off a failed title bid against Dvalishvili at UFC 320<\/a>
\nlast October. <\/p>\n
