Patricio
\nFreire<\/a> sees a major chink in his upcoming opponent\u2019s
\narmor. <\/p>\n

Freire (37-8) is scheduled to fight fellow Bellator
\nMMA<\/a> alum Aaron Pico<\/a>
\nin a featherweight matchup at UFC 327<\/a>
\non April 11 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. While Freire
\nrespects Pico\u2019s overall skill set, he sees a major flaw in his
\nchin. Freire will look to exploit Pico\u2019s chin and end the fight
\nwith a single shot.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has a lot of gifts as a fighter,\u201d Freire told MMAjunkie.com<\/a>. \u201cBut he has a fatal flaw, which
\nis: Whenever he gets hit with a hard shot, he goes down. So that\u2019s
\nsomething that I\u2019m hoping to exploit in our fight. But aside from
\nthat, he is a great fighter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Three of Pico\u2019s (13-5) five career losses have come via knockout.
\nThe 29-year-old made his UFC debut as a highly touted training
\npartner of Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> last year. Pico faced Lerone
\nMurphy<\/a> in a potential featherweight title eliminator at UFC 319
\nin August. Murphy knocked out Pico with a highlight reel spinning
\nbackfist in the opening round.<\/p>\n

Reacting to Defeat<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, \u201cPitbull\u201d suffered a lopsided decision loss in his
\n
\nUFC<\/a> debut against Yair
\nRodriguez<\/a> last year, but has since rebounded with a decision
\nwin over Dan Ige<\/a>. Freire
\nnotes that Pico has historically been cautious while coming off a
\nloss. However, Freire believes Pico still has a point to prove in
\nthe UFC, which is clearly leaning towards fan-friendly styles.
\nAccording to Freire, adapting a safe, grappling-heavy approach
\ncould prove costly for Pico.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn theory, every time he gets knocked out, he comes out more
\ncautious and uses more of his wrestling,\u201d Freire said. \u201cSo he
\ndoesn\u2019t expose himself too much. But there\u2019s a big factor here \u2013 in
\nUFC, they want you to be exciting. And he\u2019s coming off a loss in a
\ntitle eliminator. He still has to impress. So if he comes here
\ntrying to be cautious with his wrestling, people might not like it,
\nthe UFC might not like it. And he\u2019ll leave a bad
\nimpression.\u201d <\/p>\n
