Both men came out looking to strike initially, with the pressure
\nand body work of Natividad (9-0) being an early highlight. However,
\nthe grappling of Garcia (10-4-1) proved to be his undoing, as “The
\nHawaiian Punch” was able to easily control his opponent on the
\nground. Garcia spent most of the last two rounds defending
\nsubmission attempts and had little to offer in terms of offense.
\nAfter 15 minutes, the judges awarded Natividad a unanimous decision
\nvictory with three 30-27 scorecards in his favor.<\/p>\n

Bantamweight prospect Amari
\nSengsavanh<\/a> came into the night’s co-main event undefeated but
\nwas at a weight disadvantage after opponent Carlos
\nTardio<\/a> came in 4.4 pounds overweight. Sengsavanh (8-1) was
\nunable to make his opponent pay for his unprofessionalism, as
\nTardio (12-2) was composed during striking exchanges and kept
\nfiring back. Ultimately, the judges preferred the volume striking
\nof Tardio, who picked up a decision win with a trio of 29-28
\nscorecards in his favor.<\/p>\n

Longtime LFA lightweight veteran JaCobi
\nJones<\/a> returned to face Benjamin
\nOrozco<\/a> in a featured main card bout, but got a tougher test
\nthan expected. After a furious start to the first round, Orozco
\n(5-2, 1 NC) was able to take the back of Jones (9-3) and sink in
\n
\na tight rear-naked choke<\/a>. The tap officially came at 2:58 of
\nthe second round, and Orozco called for a title fight next.<\/p>\n

Strawweights Leslie
\nHernandez<\/a> and Aleksandra
\nSavicheva<\/a> clashed in the night’s lone women’s bout. The
\nstriking of Savicheva (7-2) proved to be the difference, as she
\nregularly peppered Hernandez (5-4) with punches at range. After
\nthree rounds of action, the judges awarded the Russian a decision
\nvictory with scores of 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27 in her favor.<\/p>\n
