Sean
\nO’Malley<\/a> wonders if the
\nUFC<\/a>\u2019s biggest stars would have been what they are without the
\npromotion. <\/p>\n

The
\nUFC White House<\/a> card lineup has faced some serious backlash
\nfrom some of the promotion\u2019s biggest stars. Despite having rallied
\nfor a spot on the card since it was first mentioned, Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> and Jon Jones<\/a>
\nmissed out. While McGregor expressed his disappointment mildly,
\nJones has publicly asked for his UFC release. Meanwhile, Ronda
\nRousey<\/a>, considered one of the biggest stars in the history of
\nwomen\u2019s MMA, claims a deal for a UFC return fell through after the
\npromotion\u2019s partnership with Paramount+. Rousey has since come out
\nwith some scathing remarks about UFC fighter pay and the
\npromotion\u2019s inability to cater to fans\u2019 demands. <\/p>\n

O\u2019Malley, who is also a star in his own right, has always advocated
\na good relationship between fighters and the UFC. While O\u2019Malley
\nunderstands the recent backlash from fighters, he believes the UFC
\nhad a massive role to play in their rise to stardom. A company man
\nhimself, \u201cSuga\u201d believes fighters should be grateful to the
\nUFC.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see all these top guys having issues with the UFC,\u201d O\u2019Malley
\nsaid on YouTube<\/a>. \u2028\u201cRonda, obviously, is not in the UFC
\nanymore, but talking s\u2014t about it. Conor, one of the biggest stars
\nof all time having issues with the UFC. Jon Jones<\/a>, the
\nGOAT, having issues with the UFC. Who would Conor, Jones, Ronda be
\nwithout the UFC? Could they have been successful in other ventures?
\nYes. Could they have made as much money? Probably not. If they feel
\nthey\u2019re being treated unfair, speak up\u2026 You\u2019ve got to grateful for
\nwhat you\u2019ve gotten from the UFC, from the business.\u201d <\/p>\n

Heavyweight champion Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> also had a falling out with Dana White after his title
\ndefense ended in a no contest due to eye pokes from his opponent,
\nCyril Gane. Aspinall subsequently signed with the management of
\nEddie Hearn, who is not on the best of terms with White. O\u2019Malley
\nalso previously questioned Aspinall\u2019s decision to sign with Hearn,
\nadvising \u201cHoney Badger\u201d to not make enemies with the UFC. <\/p>\n
